Cannot Access GPM using Hotel Internet Access
Reason
These issues can be caused by the hotel operating a proxy server which only allows access to basic ports thus blocking the port used by GPM.
Solution
Rather than use the hotel internet access, you may want to consider the following options :
- Purchase a 3G card (or USB 3G modem) for your laptop which will allow you to connect to the internet and access GPM or
- Use your smart phone as a WIFI hotspot (using the phone's 3G connection) which will allow you to connect to the internet and access GPM.
