How to Test your Internet Connection Speed

Actions in GPM that require access to the database are slow

Updating GPM to a new version takes a long time.
Reason
There may be many reasons associated with the issues listed above. The first step would be to test the speed of the internet connection used when running GPM.
Solution

Go to www.speedtest.net

Click on Begin Test to initiate the speed test

The test will provide times for Ping, Download speed and Upload speed

Send this data to your GPM support agent who will advise if the connection speed issues are caused by your internet connection (in this case, you will need to contact your ISP).
