Troubleshooting .NET 4 & Crystal Reports 2013
When installing the .NET4 and Crystal Reports 2013 prerequisites the following error message may display:
This error is due to missing .NET Framework updates in Windows. Please ensure all .NET updates are installed, including checking in Optional Updates
To install the updates please follow the procedures for your Operating System:
Windows Vista, 7 & 8
- Use the Start button to check for updates: Click Start > All Programs > Windows Update to check for, and install, any required Windows Updates and security patches.
- Please check under Optional Updates for any update relating to the .NET Framework.
Windows 10
- Use the
button by selecting it on your keyboard, at the same time as selecting the I letter or key > Update and Security > Windows Update > Check for updates. - The list of possible updates will be displayed in the right side panel. Click Details to check additional information and Download to obtain the .NET missing updates.
